My clients are a large roller and decorative blind company with a vast array of products, the company manufacture their products selling into traders and independent retailers. The company offer a generous commission structure for the successful candidate.
SALARY: £28,000 - £32,000 – Expected £44,000 - £49,000 first year.
LOCATION: North East, Leeds, Darlington, Bradford, Middlesbrough, York, Gateshead
The role: This sales role is predominately account management - you will be handed 250-300 live accounts, your main focus would be to increase customer spend/account growth. This will involve calling the customers and arranging meetings to achieve repeat orders, upsell new product ranges, manage new orders, and seek potential avenues in other businesses.
The candidate will have set sales targets each quarter and commission will be paid monthly, with quarterly bonuses added for over achievers. The patch turns over roughly £2.5-3.5 million per annum consisting of 90% account management and 10% new business selling into sole traders & independents.
This sales position will be working from home with a car, laptop, phone and other benefits. You will report to the UK Sales Manager – you will have to manage a set diary and be able to travel across a set patch in the North East. You will be expected to report to the main office every 6 weeks. You will also attend trade shows and keep up to date with the companies ever expanding product range in order grow your customers spend.
The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience of selling into traders and independent retailers and come from an FMCG background. It is essential that you have stability in your CV. This role suits someone who has account management experience who can build relationships quickly whilst managing to make sales and promote new products. A background in soft furnishings and/ or blinds would be advantageous however not essential.
