My client is a leading supplier of roofing and cladding solutions and looking for a sales professional with experience of selling to architects and specifiers to join their team. LOCATION: The territory that you will take over covers Birmingham, down to Bristol and across to Cardiff so you must live either on or relatively close to patch.
SALARY: The basic salary is £28,000 to £46,000 as a basic salary with an annual bonus which is up to 15% of the basic salary so maximum bonus is approximately £7000. You will also get a fully expensed company car, mobile, laptop 20 days holiday and pension etc.
You will be selling a wide range of roofing and cladding solutions into architects, specifiers and main contractors quoting for projects with the defence sector, power stations, schools, hospitals and retail parks.
You will be taking over an existing territory that has been well looked after and you will inherit an existing database of accounts to manage. 75% of the time you will be reacting to incoming enquiries and 25% of the time you be researching and sourcing leads in order to identify projects to quote for. You will be quoting and tendering for projects via the architects and specifiers and lead times can be anything for 3 months to 2 years.
Successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years field sales/face to face selling experience and must have experience of selling into architects and specifiers. Experience within the roofing and cladding sector would be advantage but not essential. You will be results driven, well presented with a desire to earn!
