LOCATION: Candidates can live anywhere in Kent and London and will cover this (and the surrounding area) as a territory.
SALARY: £30,000 to £35,000 as a basic salary with an OTE of £45,000 (+) which is completely uncapped. You will also receive a fully expensed company car, mobile, laptop and 20 days holiday.
You will be selling a wide range of construction supplies including fixings, fastenings, power tools, hand tools, site equipment, tapes and adhesives (to name but a few) to the construction market place dealing contractors, house builders and interior fit out companies.
The role itself will be a mixture of account management and new business, you will have a small portfolio of accounts given to you initially and you will be targeted to win 2 regular spending accounts a month. You will put all accounts onto a regular call cycle and eventually build the territory to an annual turnover of £2 million (of course over time). You will manage your own diary and book your appointments.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years field sales experience and will have experience of selling into the construction market place. You will be used to selling from a large product range, have the ability to win new accounts and develop relationships.
