Job Description

A genuinely exciting Commercial Manager opportunity has arisen within this leading contract cleaning company. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and delivering the commercial strategy and leading the commercial team to achieve this. Focus on prospective and current client engagement, co-ordinating the PQQ and tender process and contract development/reviews.  Overseeing, planning and attending client events. If you have experience of managing and winning tenders and can manage a small team, please apply ASAP 

LOCATION: You will work from the office in Lewisham from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, visiting and presenting to client as and when required.  

SALARY: Circa £40,000 as a basic salary, with 25 days holiday and company pension etc. 

This company sells a wide range of contract cleaning services to schools, local authorities and shopping centres (to name but a few). 

You will effectively manage and coach the commercial team and develop the skills of the commercial team and encourage a team ethos. You will oversee and co-ordinate the PQQ and tender process to ensure responses and documents are submitted in the correct format and on time.  

You will oversee and assist with content and format for presentations and carry out presentations to retain current or win new business, Identify and develop unique selling points (USP’s). Work with the BDM to create opportunities and book appointments to generate new business by adopting a proactive approach and targeting key customers. You will be responsible for developing long standing productive relationships with existing customers and ensure an excellent customer experience is delivered at all times. You will also effectively manage and deliver on-going marketing campaigns to promote services and maximise the profitable growth of the business. 

Successful candidates will have experience of compiling PQQ and tender information, experience of presenting to existing and potential clients. Experience of working in a commercial role, of managing a team and of working closely with all levels of employee, client and suppliers. If you have experience of working within contract cleaning industry this would be desirable but not essential.
