Job Description

A genuinely exciting opportunity Divisional Sales Manager role has arisen with this leading supplier of modular buildings. They are looking for a high calibre Business Development with exceptional presentation skills who wants to step into man management to join their team. LOCATION: Candidates will live in the Leeds/Sheffield/Yorkshire area and will cover this region as a territory as well as looking after 2 Area Sales Managers, one that covers North West England/Scotland and the other covers Sheffield down to Northampton. 

SALARY: The basic salary is £40,000 to £50,000 with 10% to 20% of the basic salary paid out in commission (paid monthly), a fully expensed company car, mobile, laptop, pension and 22 days holiday.  

You will be selling a wide range of standard and bespoke modular buildings to local authorities, schools, NHS, utilities, commercial end users and a small amount of construction companies.

You will be responsible for managing a developing your own area as well as managing a team of 2 Area Sales Managers. You will coach and assist them with their sales, conduct one to ones and accompany them on client visits where large presentations are involved.

The role is proactive researching and sourcing leads and responding to enquiries that come via the branch in order to book appointments. You will be required to conduct site surveys, complete tenders and present at board room level.

Successful candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ field sales experience. You will be used to securing and working on large projects or accounts with long lead times. You will have exceptional presentation skills, be able to present at boardroom level and work on large scale tenders. You will be polished and professional.
