Job Description

A fantastic Internal Sales and Account Executive has arisen within a well-established and thriving packaging company. 

The company specialise in selling a range of corrugated packaging solutions to a variety of industries including retail and industrial. 

SALARY:         £22,000 - £28,000 basic plus bonus 

BENEFITS:     Company pool car, holiday, expenses, pension 

LOCATION:    Working from the office near Shrewsbury, with visits to clients as and when required 

This role is a mixture of new business and account management. You will be responsible for self-generating your own leads via researching, cold-calling and referrals as well as looking after and nurturing existing accounts. The role will be based from the office, however you will be expected to arrange appointments to go and visit client’s face to face to further strengthen relationships and to increase spending in the accounts. 

A highly consultative sales approach is required, conducting an in-depth needs analysis to establish the client’s packaging needs, identify any current issues they may have, discuss and offer relevant solutions, quote prices and close the sale.

You will then be responsible for drawing up and submitting quotes, maintaining and updating sales systems as well as keeping up to date with company products and industry legislation. 

To be successful for this role, you must have at least 3 years’ B2B sales experience either over the phone or face to face, be a confident new business hunter as well as able to manage existing accounts, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be highly IT literate.
