Job Description

An incredible International Business Development Manager position has arisen within a well-established and rapidly expanding industry leading supplier of Steel wire rope. 

SALARY:        £30,000 - £50,000 basic plus commission 

BENEFITS:     World-Wide travel, expenses, holiday, pension 

LOCATION:    This role will be a mixture of working from the Office near Hemel Hempstead as well as travelling world-wide to visit clients face to face 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading manufacturer and supplier of steel wire rope. The company sell a range of wire rope solutions into a variety of industries including Construction, Material handling and Oil and Gas. 

This is a highly diverse role, your time will be split between spending time working in the office, liaising with clients over the phone and email as well as spending time abroad to conduct face to face meetings.

You will be working from a mixture of incoming enquiries as well self-generating your own leads via researching and canvassing. You will be dealing with clients from a range of regions including Europe and the Middle East so must be willing and able to travel to these areas.

A highly consultative sales approach is required, conducting an in-depth needs analysis to fully understand the range of products required, talking through the technical specifications, negotiating prices and closing the sale. 

To be successful for the role, you must have at least 3 years’ proven international sales experience ideally selling a construction based product, speak at least one foreign language, be able to work autonomously, be highly motivated and target driven. You will need to be commutable to the office near Hemel Hempstead, have an up-to-date passport and be willing to travel world-wide.
