Job Description

A genuinely exciting Key Account Manager position has arisen with this leading supplier of contract cleaning services. You will be responsible for managing key accounts and maintaining long term relationships with clients. 

LOCATION: Candidates will live a commutable distance to the London area and cover London as a territory.  

SALARY: £40,000 as a basic salary, fully expensed company car, mobile phone, 25 days’ holiday, and company pension.  

You will be responsible for managing several key accounts and being the face of the company which would include attending client entertainment events. You will be responsible for scheduling and taking minutes at regular client meetings, to discuss contracts performance/development, any KPI’s, ongoing improvements, future requirements & promote the company’s innovations. You will be Playing an integral role in new business pitches/presentations and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new key clients. 

Focusing on growing and developing existing key clients, together in supporting the BDM with generating new business. Work with the Commercial Department to ensure Key Account portfolio’s business plans are supported and implemented. Feeding back all suggestions for improvement and market research to the Board. You will also carry out site surveys and carry out new account 3 monthly reviews. 

You will have the ability to price up work, manage a small team of Account Management Assistants as well as review all compliance documentation relating to COSHH and PAT testing compliance.  

Successful candidates will ideally have a minimum of 2 years Key Account experience within the contract cleaning industry.
