A genuinely exciting Sales Administrator position has arisen within this well-established supplier of fixings and fastenings to the plumbing industry. This is a fast-paced customer service/sales environment, dealing with customer enquiries and orders over the phone.
SALARY: £19,000 to £21,000 as a basic salary, 20 days holiday and company pension.
LOCATION: You will work from the office in the Gillingham area 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
You will be responsible for handling enquiries from plumbing merchants across the South East, they will be calling in with orders for products, enquiries on deliveries and quotations. You will be logging all orders and correspondence onto the companies CRM database, sending correspondence and updating the company spreadsheet. You’ll also be required to support all other aspects of an admin function such as post, filing, archiving and other general office duties. From time to time, you may be asked to support other departments.
This role requires you to have an excellent telephone manner, be organised, pay great attention to detail, be a problem solver and to be proactive with your approach to your workload. Due to the administrative nature of this work proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel is desirable. An ability to build good working relationships is essential as you’ll be working closely with production and warehouse to ensure next day delivery for customers is achieved. Previous experience of working in a sales office environment would be desirable.
