Job Description

A fantastic Field Account Manager position has arisen within a leading manufacturer of blinds and rollers.

My clients are a large roller and decorative blind company with a vast array of products, the company manufacture their products and sell into traders and independent retailers. The company offer a generous commission structure for the successful candidate. 

SALARY: £30,000 - £34,000 plus commission and bonus £45,000 - £49,000

LOCATION: This is a field-based role covering the North-East 

This is predominantly an account management role. You will inherit an account base of 300-400 customers with an area turnover of approximately £1million a quarter.

Your role will be to maintain and build a strong rapport with these accounts, ensuring you develop and nurture them to increase spending. 

In complete control of your own diary, you will be expected to efficiently manage your own dairy to ensure that all clients are visited in a timely manner.

A highly consultative sales approach is required, conducting an in-depth needs analysis to fully understand buying trends and the profit margins of the client, presenting and upselling new ranges and seasonal promotions and closing the sale.

You will be dealing with key decision makers such as business owners. 

The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience of selling into traders and independent retailers and come from an FMCG background. It is essential that you have stability in your CV. This role suits someone who has account management experience who can build relationships quickly whilst managing to make sales and promote new products. A background in soft furnishings and/ or blinds would be advantageous however not essential.
