An exciting Area Sales Manager role has arisen with this leading nationwide supplier of material handling equipment. They are looking for an experienced sales professional with experience of selling capital equipment (either plant hire or material handling equipment) to join their team. LOCATION: Candidates will live in the Slough, Berkshire, Middlesex, Hertfordshire area and will cover this area (and as far out s Oxford) as a territory.
SALARY: £30,000 to £35,000 as a basic salary with an OTE of £45k, which is completely uncapped and designed to reward new business. You will also receive a fully expensed company car, mobile, laptop and 20 days holiday.
You will be selling a wide range of material handling equipment (new and used) to a whole host of end users such as distributors, supermarkets and manufacturers.
The role itself will be geared towards new business, you will responding to leads that will be given to you via the branch, you will use their existing database in order to contact potential clients and book appointments as well researching and sourcing your own leads. You will retain all accounts that you win.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years field sales experience and you will have experience of selling capital equipment such as plant hire or materials handling equipment. You will have experience of managing a territory, booking appointments and selling face to face. If this role sounds of interest, please apply ASAP.
