To be suitable for this role you must have experience of installing and servicing large water booster sets and pressurisation sets, have excellent communications skills and a full driving licence.
The company is expanding and needs a new key member of the team to take over the majority of the work installing, servicing, fault finding and repairing booster pump sets and pressure vessels with pipe work from 15mm to 12inch in a wide range of commercial, industrial buildings across London and the home counties.
The business manufactures, sources and installs a wide range of water conditioning equipment including filtration, water softeners, de-mineralisation plant, reverse osmosis plant and UV sterilisation equipment as well as completing the compliance side of water treatment including ACOP L8 risk assessments, tank cleans and chlorination, redundant pipework removal, sampling, temperature monitoring, Tank replacements etc. The company have an amazing record for retaining the people who work for them with a significant majority entering 30 years service with them, the customer retention rates are one of the best in the industry, if not the best.
Your role will be fairly autonomous from the general teams, working closely with the installation manager and operational manager completing surveys, installs, motor changes alongside an electrical engineer, fault finding and repair, replumbing and routine planned servicing to a wide range of booster sets and pressure vessels. During any quiet periods you may get involved with general plumbing alongside the team or gain training on some of the specialist aspects the company is involved with including cooling towers and closed systems. Most of your work will be London and the home counties but occasionally there will be longer trips involved.
To be suitable for this role you must have extensive experience of installing booster sets and pressurising vessels as the lead engineer on the job, you must take real pride in your work, have excellent communications skills, focus and a full drivers licence, electrical knowledge is useful but not essential.
