Job Description

A Business Development Director position has arisen for specialists in the integrated electronic systems industry. 

The company specialise in selling a wide range of integrated electric products such as CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection and EPOS into a variety of customers including commercial companies like restaurants, hotels and fitness companies. 

SALARY:         £40,000 basic plus £100,000 OTE

LOCATION:    This is a field-based role covering the whole of the U.K and occasional trips to Europe. 

This is a role focused on growing UK and European Business, generating new market development opportunities, within the existing M&E markets and/or direct to market via multi-site organisations. You will contribute towards the long-term organisational strategic goals of the Company, build key customer relationships, identify, develop and define business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and develop and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.   

You will be required to work with the internal team, marketing staff and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximise revenue for the organisation. To achieve this, you will need to, identify potential new customers, make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their future needs and ultimately convert them into clients, managing ongoing growth on each account.            

To be suitable for this post candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of Field Sales ideally in security, communication and entertainment solutions/market. Have experience with integrated electronic system design and CASH software. This position suits the requirements for sales planning & territory management, meeting sales goals & targets, ability to meet project deadlines, being influential, demonstrate tact, professionalism and diplomacy in all situations.
