A fantastic Business Development Manager position has arisen within a dynamic and expanding Vehicle Technology Company.

 

The company, who specialise in a range of vehicle technology solutions including vehicle CCTV, tracking technology and screens into a variety of industries including Construction, Fleet Vehicle Companies and the Emergency Services are looking for a motivated and successful Business Development Manager to join their fast-paced sales team.

 

SALARY:         £25,000-£30,000 basic, plus commission £65,000 - £75,000 uncapped 

BENEFITS:     Car or allowance, mobile, laptop, expenses, pension, holiday 

LOCATION:    This is field based role covering London and the surrounding area with approximately 1-2 days a week in the office 

This will be an exciting and varied role. Your role will be both office and field-based, where you will be looking to deal with a range of new and existing customers from a variety of industries such as Fleet Vehicle Companies, Construction Companies and the Emergency Services. Your day to day duties will include looking to self-generate your own leads via cold-calling and canvassing as well as convert incoming leads from the office and attending trade shows and networking events. On top of this, you will also be tasked to grow a range of inherited a range of accounts by building a strong rapport and offering additional products and solutions to increase spending. 

A highly consultative sales approach is required, conducting an in-depth needs analysis, presenting a range of relevant vehicle technology solutions, drawing up quotations and tenders when required and closing the sale. 

To be successful for this role, you must have at least 2 years’ field sales experience. You must have a proven track-record of success, be adept at both winning new business and managing accounts and be living inside of the M25 with the ability to travel to the office in South-East London on a regular basis. 

This would be an ideal role for a Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager or Field Sales Executive who has an interest within technology or vehicles or a Commercial car Salesperson who is looking for a move into a more field based position.
