Job Description

A fantastic Business Development Manager position has arisen within a dynamic and expanding Vehicle Technology Company. 

The company, who specialise in a range of vehicle technology solutions including vehicle CCTV, tracking technology and screens into a variety of industries including Construction, Fleet Vehicle Companies and the Emergency Services are looking for an experienced and successful Business Development Manager to join their fast-paced sales team. 

SALARY:         £30,000-£40,000 basic, plus commission £65,000 - £75,000 uncapped

LOCATION:    This is field based role covering London and the surrounding area with approximately 1-2 days a week in the office 

This is a new business and account management position. You will be expected to self-generate your own leads via cold-calling and canvassing as well as convert incoming leads from the office and attending trade shows and networking events. On top of this, you will also inherit a range of accounts and be expected to grow and nurture these via regular meetings and upselling additional product ranges. 

Your time will be split between 1-2 days a week in the office and the rest of the time out on the field visiting potential customers. A highly consultative sales approach is required, conducting an in-depth needs analysis, presenting a range of relevant vehicle technology solutions, drawing up quotations and tenders when required and closing the sale. 

To be successful for this role, you must have at least 3 years’ proven field sales experience within fleet vehicles or vehicle technology, be both adept at generating new business as well as account management and be willing and able to cover London and the surrounding area.  

This is an ideal role for a Business Development Manager or Field Sales Executive or Territory Manager or Area Sales Manager with a background in fleet vehicles or vehicle technology.
