An excellent Commercial Manager position has arisen within an industry leading architectural ironmongery manufacturer.
The company who specialise in a range of architectural ironmongery solutions such as door sets, hinges, locks, balustrading and handrails are looking for an experienced and successful Commercial Manager to join their team.
This role will also be a stepping stone to become the new Branch Manager in 2-3 years’ time.
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

LOCATION: This role will be working out of an office based near Greenwich
This is an exciting and diverse role where you will be responsible for leading both the internal and external sales teams, mentoring and ensuring that all targets are achieved.
You will work closely with the Branch Manager, developing and implementing a sales strategy and supporting the Branch in growing effectively.
You will be responsible for ensuring that live projects are tracked and secured in a timely manner, work closely with Architects and Contractors to assist with technical queries and look for opportunities to gain specification for the full range of ironmongery solutions whilst also identifying and targeting potential new clients as well as keeping up to date with competitor prices.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 years’ proven experience as either a Sales Executive selling ironmongery or associated products into Architects and Specifiers or as an Assistant Branch Manager or Commercial Manager within ironmongery looking for a new challenge.
A GAI (Guild of Architectural Ironmongery) qualification would be highly advantageous.
As this is an office-based role, you must be a reasonable daily commute to premises near Greenwich.
