SALARY:         £34,500 - £45,500 company bonus scheme (paid monthly), company expenses, company vehicle with a fuel card, pension, phone, PDA, laptop, 21 days paid holiday + bank holidays.

A Deputy Technical Manager role has emerged with this well-established and leading  manufacturer in the U.K and Europe of door entry systems, access control, CCTV and IP  intercoms in to housing associations and local authorities. 

The works will generally be office based in Hemel Hempstead including client visits.  

Duties include supporting and building employees technical knowledge, giving the  assurance that staff members are kept up to date with the technical advances within the industry. Working closely with Field Project Managers and Project Managers to gain an understanding of the project schedules to allow for planned technical assistance of the operatives on site at key milestones. Supervising the quality and standard of on-site installs performed by the project engineers and sub-contractors. Liase with the Workshop and Test Manager to ascertain equipment and build requirements.   

The Deputy Technical Manager will work closely with all departments to ensure the company is able to deliver top quality engineering services and to maximise sales across all products. 

To be suitable for this role you must have a strong knowledge of door entry, access control and CCTV technology. Strong supervisory skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility and a pro-active approach.
