An exciting Door Entry Field Engineer position has arisen within a company delivering successful mechanical, heating, electrical and security services.
Established for 40 years the company has been providing buildings support to local authorities, social landlords, NHS trusts and private sectors and deliver mechanical, electrical, heating and security services and solutions to commercial and domestic clients. They are looking for an experienced and successful Door Entry Field Engineer.
SALARY: £29,500 - £35,500

LOCATION: This is a Field based role covering mainly Westminster and occasionally Thurrock and Hertfordshire when required. Call outs are currently 1 week in every 4.
As a Door Entry Field Engineer you will be installing, maintaining, servicing and repairing mainly door entry systems other equipment includes alarms, CCTV, access control plus other security products. You will also be carrying out planned preventative maintenance, ensuring test and inspections compliance checks are carried out in accordance with up to date British Standards. You will report daily to your supervisor/manager on the status of all works and advise in good time to discuss problems of time-scale and resources. The works will be carried out for local authorities, social landlords, housing associations, NHS trusts and private sector organisations.
To be successful for this role as a Door Entry Field Engineer you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the security sector, ideally have excellent skills and knowledge of door entry, intruder, fire, access control, warden call and CCTV systems. As a Door Entry Engineer you must have experience with entrotec and tynetec systems. Be camesafe and adsa accredited. It is essential you have worked in a social housing environment and an advantage if you have a CSCS card and trained with vulnerable people.
