My client, a well-established publisher of a range of trade-based magazines are looking to bring on an Events Co-Ordinator to join their fun and expanding team. 

SALARY:         £18,000 - £22,000

LOCATION:    This is an internal role, working from the office near Maidstone 

This role will be a highly varied and exciting position where you will work closely with both the Sales Manager and Sales team as well as the Office Manager.

A major part of this role will be the negotiation, arrangement and organisation of events both in the UK and abroad.

You will be expected to maintain existing relationships with Trade Event Organisations as well as look for new opportunities. This will include negotiating event costings and identifying potential sponsorship opportunities.

You will be responsible for booking any necessary transport, accommodation and equipment hire, assist in the design and the set-up of trade show stands and ensure that events run smoothly, with clear guidelines and targets.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring all necessary administration is kept up to date and that events are thoroughly reviewed and evaluated. 

To be successful for this role, you must be highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and be able to work on multiple projects at the same time. You will require a keen eye for detail and a creative flair.

You must have excellent customer service skills, be highly articulate and well-presented and be willing and able to travel across the UK and abroad. You will require a full UK driving licence and be a reasonable commute to the office near Maidstone on a daily basis.
