Job Description

POSITION:    Field Sales Executive, Account Manager – Water Treatment, Air Hygiene, ACOP L8

SALARY:       £29,500 - £35,200 basic, £49,000 – £62,000 open ended commission, company vehicle, appropriate PPE, medical, dental, excellent sales incentives and awards, active prospect for career growth.

LOCATION:  Scotland 

To be suitable for this role you must have technical experience of selling Water Hygiene,

Air Hygiene, Water treatment Chemicals, ACOP L8 Risk Assessments, Water Monitoring Services, Tank Replacement Services or very similar, full driving licence and excellent communications skills.

Established in the early 1980’s with a solid pattern of success, good business judgement and motivated technical teams offering excellent back up from the very start.  They are unrivalled in the industry today – clients include healthcare, education, FM, blue chip end users, government departments, local authorities, manufacturing and many more. 

Your role –The business has taken the decision to reduce the size of the territories for all of the sales teams as the Account Managers are getting to the full capacity of their time and efficiency, meaning you will be taking over a well-run, stable group of long term accounts and have the time to look for some new business to boost the area. You may have your own development plan in mind for the patch, however, the current plan is to focus on the existing accounts to start with, introduce yourself, complete a full review of their business with the usual – where else, what else, who else business growth questions, put together a plan for the customer hopefully with some reasonable sales growth, then move onto any recent lapsed accounts for the patch, all the leads coming into the business for your patch will be channelled to you, plus you will probably have your own contact and leads to develop. As time goes by and the area consolidates hopefully you will get the time for some new business development of your own. 

The services include – water hygiene monitoring, water temperature testing, ACOP L8 risk assessments  tank cleans, tank replacement, cooling tower monitoring and chemical treatment, boiler monitoring and treatment, plumbing remedials, flushing, pre com cleaning, air hygiene testing, ductwork cleaning, decontaminating, area fogging and much more. 

You must have a background in selling Water Hygiene , Monitoring , ACOP L8 risk assessing or something very similar as the role can be surprisingly technical and very expensive if you get it wrong, they will train you extensively but need a kernel of experience to build on.
