Job Description

A fantastic Field Sales Executive position has arisen within a leading supplier of building materials. 

The company who specialise in a range of building products such as roofing, cladding and drainage solutions into Builders Merchants and Wholesalers are looking for a motivated and successful Field Sales Executive to join their team. 

SALARY:          Circa £28,000 basic plus, quarterly commission and annual bonus 

BENEFITS:     Company car, laptop, mobile, expense account 

LOCATION:    This is a field-based role covering the South West of England 

This role is a mixture of account management and new business. You will inherit a bank of accounts and be expected to nurture and grow these, whilst also looking for new opportunities within the territory. 

Working from home, you will be in complete control of your own diary, spending approximately 4 days a week out on the road and one day working from home to complete any necessary administrative tasks. 

A highly consultative sales approach is required, where you will conduct an in-depth needs analysis to identify current buying trends, additional products that could be relevant and ensuring that the client is aware of any promotions. From here, you will be responsible for negotiating costings and profit margins and closing the sale. 

To be successful for this role, you must have at least 2 years’ field sales experience, ideally within the construction industry. You must be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously. 

As this is a Field Sales Executive role, you must have a full UK driving licence and be willing and able to cover the South-West of England. 

This role would suit anyone who currently works as a Business Development Manager, Territory Sales Manager or Area Sales Manager.
