Job Description

A fantastic Field Sales Executive position has arisen within a market leading manufacturer of DIY products. 

The company specialise in a range of DIY products such as paint brushes and hand tools into a variety of customers including Trade Partners, Merchants, Wholesalers and independent retailers. 

SALARY:         £32,000 - £33,000 basic plus commission £3,200 - £3,300

LOCATION:    This is a field-based role covering the Northern area 

This is a mixture of new business and account management, you will inherit a territory with a turnover of approximately £300,000-£350,000. Your role will be to nurture and develop these accounts as well as look to bring on new customers. You will be in complete control of your own diary, spending 4-5 days a week out on the road, completing any administrative tasks from a home office, also supporting branches with trade days and campaigns. A highly consultative sales approach is required, conducting an in-depth needs analysis to fully determine the buying trends and profit margins of the customer, presenting relevant products and closing the sale. 

To be successful for this role, you must have at least 3 years’ proven field sales experience selling within the FMCG marketplace. You must have experience in both managing a territory as well as being a new business hunter. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be highly articulate and well-presented.
