Opportunity to join a stable and expanding European giftware, Art and craft and hobby craft supplier. Previous experience in a related industry is desirable, working as a field sales executive, Territory sales manager, account manager, Field sales representative or business development manager. Ideally your sales experience will be selling into gift shops, garden centres and the hobby craft market place or related retail accounts.
SALARY: Guaranteed earnings of £35,000 per annum + (there is a guaranteed commission for the first 6 to 12 months whilst you build up the territory) plus fully expensed company car, laptop, i-pad, mobile phone, and pension after 6 months.
LOCATION: This is a field base role to covering London and the South East.
This expanding organisation is an off shoot of a stable and long established European distributor with a diverse product range which includes products unique to them within the giftware, knitting and hobby craft industry.
The product range offers a ‘one stop shop’ to the industry and covers hand knitting, needlecrafts such as cross stitch and embroidery, paper crafts, scrap booking, bead craft, art and craft materials, painting, canvas, craft basics such as glitters and glues.
The organisation is a distributor with a diverse product range, but they also have a unique product range including their own designs, which are exclusive to them. You will inherit a bank of accounts within the arts and craft sector, but you will be required to build-up the ‘giftware’ account base in the London area predominantly opening gift store accounts.
We require an experienced Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive / Area Sales Manager / Field Sales Representative / Territory Sales Executive or Account Manager.
The client base targeted includes both independents and multiples, such as gift shops, department stores, hobby craft outlets and garden centres with gift departments.
We are looking for smart and dynamic, experienced sales person, happy to develop new accounts and manage and grow the current base. You will be focussed, determined, ambitious and results driven with sound commercial awareness – someone who knows what needs to be done and has the self motivation to do it!!
Experience selling into retail accounts is the key, you will have a successful field sales record of accomplishment, excellent sales skills, and the desire to succeed and earn commission as a reward for sales success.
