A fantastic field sales opportunity has arisen within an industry leading pump manufacturer.
My client specialises in manufacturing and selling a range of Pumps including Booster Sets, Pressure Vessels, Drainage and Sewage Pumps and Swimming Pool Pumps into a variety of end users such as Utility Companies and Construction as well as to a network of Distributors.
SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000 basic plus bonus circa £5,000

LOCATION: This is a field-based role covering the South-West
This role is a mixture of new business and account management. You will be taking over a range of existing accounts as well as looking to bring on new customers via cold calling, canvassing and attending trade exhibitions.
In complete control of your own diary, you will spend approximately 4 days a week out on the field visiting customers and looking for new business and 1 day a week working from home, completing any administrative tasks and booking appointments for the following week. Office visits will be “adhoc” or for sales meetings only.
A highly consultative sales approach is required. You will be expected to conduct an in-depth needs analysis and a site survey, present and demonstrate a range of suitable pump solutions, draw up and submit quotations, negotiate pricing and close the sale.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years proven field sales experience ideally within pumps or a similar technical product.
You will be highly motivated, well-presented and articulate with the ability to work autonomously. You must be willing and able to generate new opportunities as well as nurture and grow existing relationships. You must be situated within the South-West of England and have a full UK driving licence.
