Job Description

A fantastic Field Sales Executive opportunity has arisen within an industry leading distributor and installer of Racking and Shelving solutions. 

The company who specialise in a range of racking and shelving solutions such as warehouse pallet racking, shelving systems, storage lockers and mezzanine flooring into a range of sectors including industrial and commercial. 

SALARY:         £30,000 - £45,000 plus commission £5,000 - £7,000

LOCATION:    This is a field-based role covering the South-East  

This role will initially be a new business position, self-generating your own leads via cold-calling, canvassing, referrals and networking events. In complete control of your own diary, you will spend approximately 4 days a week out on the field and 1 day a week working from home to complete any necessary administrative tasks. 

A complete “cradle to the grave” sales approach is required. You will be responsible for taking the role on from inception, conducting an in-depth needs analysis and site survey, using CAD to draw up design plans and working closely with the client to product suitable solutions.

From here, you will then be responsible for project managing the installation of the solutions and be the sole point of contact for the client throughout the process. 

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 years’ proven experience of selling racking and shelving, storage solutions or mezzanine flooring for warehouses and offices via Architects, Specifiers and Contractors. You must have experience of conducting site surveys and reading and producing technical drawings.

Experience of conducting CPD presentations would also be advantageous. 

As this is a field sales position, you must have a full UK driving licence.
