Job Description

An amazing opportunity for a Field Service Engineer looking to join an expanding company with full, structured training on a variety of bespoke equipment.

The company specialise in high quality, low-velocity and pneumatic conveying systems. They have a wealth of experience in building, creating and designing pneumatic conveying systems for high end clients across both the UK and Europe and have a great reputation in the industry for producing high quality and bespoke solutions for their clients. 

SALARY:         £30,500 - £35,500

LOCATION:    This is a mobile role covering the UK, Europe and Africa you must be able to travel overseas when required. 

As a Field Service Engineer you will be carrying out equipment start-ups and technical service calls, designing specific control systems pneumatic and electrical including writing bills of materials and PLC programs. As a Field Service Engineer you will be testing equipment, providing troubleshooting and technical support to customers and in-house engineering/project teams. You will also participate in project execution by specifying parts and communication with suppliers, preparing site visit reports and maintain updates to internal databases. 

To be successful for this role as a Field Service Engineer you must have basic mechanical skills and an interest in mechanical systems and solving mechanical problems. You must be flexible in travelling domestically and internationally, be familiar with electrical and pneumatic circuits and PLC programming. You must be able to read AutoCAD drawings and an advantage if you can design in CAD. It is also essential you have a minimum of 2 year’s experience in a technical role preferably machinery maintenance. Having an HND/HNC electrical engineering qualification or technical degree is an advantage.
