A fantastic Health & Safety Officer position has arisen within a leading manufacturer of large and essential parts for the petrochemical, oil refining and general chemical industries.
The company, who specialise in a range of petrochemical solutions are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Officer with a keen eye for detail to join their fast-paced office and become an integral part of the team.
SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 basic
LOCATION: This is an office-based role working from a site near Orpington, however there will be travelling involved to sites throughout the UK and Internationally
This is a hugely varied role, where you will be reporting to the Senior Health & Safety Manager and will have a number of responsibilities and functions.
These duties will include, but are not limited to conducting and documenting risk assessments and inspections, performing accident and incident investigations and reports, conducting health & safety training activities and safety meetings as well as playing a large role in compliance, ensuring rules and regulations are adhered to at all times and that high levels of quality control are maintained.
This role will require a level of travel, with approximately 1 week a month being spent travelling to sites throughout the UK and 1 week every 2 months being spent visiting sites globally.
To be successful for this role, you will have at least 3 years’ experience within Construction as a Health & Safety Officer or Health & Safety Manager. You must have a CSCS card or equivalent, allowing you access to building sites as well as have a full UK driving licence and be willing and able to travel throughout the UK and internationally.
