Job Description

A fantastic Senior Account Management position has arisen within a well-established and industry leading distributor of industrial supplies and consumables. They are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join their friendly and fast-paced office and become an integral part of the team. 

The company specialises in selling a range of industrial supplies and consumables including chemicals, degreasers and PPE into a variety of customers including food processing, automotive and oil and gas.  

SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 basic plus commission and bonus

LOCATION: This is mainly an internal based role, working from an office near Stretford with occasional site visits 

This is predominantly an account management role, where you will be inheriting a vast range of existing customers. Your role will be to nurture and maintain these accounts, looking for ways to up-sell and cross-sell additional products to increase spending.

There will also be a level of new business to this position, looking to generate additional revenue incomes via cold-calling and canvassing. 

A highly consultative sales approach is required, conducting an in-depth needs analysis to find other products that the client may be interested in purchasing, whilst maintaining and growing the current relationship. 

This role will be predominantly an internal based position, however there will be times when it is required for you to visit existing clients, so it is crucial that you have your own transport. 

Another large part of this role will be to ensure that all relevant administrative tasks are kept up to date. This will include entering data into the CRM system, filling out necessary delivery information, organising logistics, stock checking and maintaining profit margins. 

This is an ideal role for candidates selling either PPE, industrial chemicals and cleansers or consumables into the manufacturing industry such as automotive, food processing, oil and gas or packaging. 

You must have an excellent telephone and face to face manner and be able to work autonomously, managing your own work load efficiently. You must be a reasonable daily commute to the office near Stretford and have your own transport.
