Job Description

An exciting Internal Business Development sales vacancy has arisen with this leading supplier of janitorial supplies. They are looking for an experience Business Development Manager to work from their office and proactively develop new business, open new accounts, and support the Area Sales Managers. LOCATION: You will work from the office in Essex Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm 

SALARY: £28,000 as a basic salary plus commission and bonuses, 20 days holiday and company pension.  

The company sell a wide range of janitorial supplies to schools, care homes, cleaning companies, hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and leisure centres (to name but a few) they aim to be the ‘one stop shop’ for all janitorial supplies to their customers.  

Your role be to deal with clients over the phone, research, and source leads to generate new business, win, and develop new accounts. You will also be updating and utilising LinkedIn in to develop new connections and gain interest, in order to open new accounts. You will also be encouraged to visit clients you develop so this role could really grow as you develop with it. You will also support the Area Sales Manager’s by generating quotations for them and chasing these up with client.  

Successful candidates must have a minimum of 2 years internal sales experience and be confident to deal with clients over the phone and face to face (on occasion). You will be familiar with social media (specifically LinkedIn) and have a proactive outlook on developing new business. You will have excellent I.T skills including knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems. If this sounds of interest, please apply ASAP.
