POSITON:  Internal Sales Administrator/Estimator – Petrochemical/Construction 

PRODUCTS: Manufacture of essential parts for the petrochemical, refining and chemical industries. 

SALARY: £25,000 - £35,000 basic plus company profit scheme 

BENEFITS: Pension, Holiday 

LOCATION:  Working from the office near Orpington 

A fantastic Internal Sales Administrator/Estimator role has arisen within an industry leading petrochemical parts manufacturer.

The company has been established since the 1980’s, growing steadily with Sites across the world.  They manufacture large and essential parts for the petrochemical, oil refining and general   chemical industries.   

This is a highly diverse and technical role. You will be expected to speak to a range of existing customers as well as respond to new enquiries both over the phone and via email. These customers will be a mix of UK and worldwide clients.

Your role will be to estimate and generate technical and commercial proposals and quotations for a range of end-users, Contractors and Distributors.

You will be working closely with Project Managers to review ongoing proposals and ensure that all relevant documentation is completed on a timely manner.

Other duties will include keeping all relevant systems up to date and completing relevant health and safety and compliance checks.

You will be working from an office near Orpington on a daily basis however you must be willing to visit construction sites on occasion as and when required. 

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ sales administration and estimating experience within a construction or industrial based marketplace, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be highly IT literate.

You must have a full UK driving licence and be daily commutable to the office near Orpington.

Be a fluent French speaker would also be highly advantageous. 

This role would be suitable for people with job titles such as: Sales Administrator, Sales Support, Technical Sales Support, Estimator, Technical Support.
