Job Description

A genuinely exciting Key Account Manager opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading independent educational resources supplier. They are the one-stop-shop for educational supplies and are looking for an experienced sales professional to join their team! 

LOCATION: You will cover the Surrey/West Sussex/Hampshire area as a territory so you must live on patch. You will have the opportunity to work from home when not out visiting clients. 

SALARY: £32,000 as a basic salary with another £6000 on top which is paid out quarterly. You will also receive a car allowance of £6,060 pa. You will also get 25 annual leave plus a birthday holiday and bank holidays. You will also receive a pension scheme, life assurance and staff discounts.  

This company sell a wide range of educational supplies including art supplies, stationery, furniture, science and sports equipment and their aim is to be the ‘one stop shop’ for all educational supplies to schools. 

You will be managing a large existing database ranging from small schools up to Academy Trusts, Local Education Authorities and Diocese School Boards with the emphasis being on opening and re-opening large lapsed Key Accounts.  

You will be responsible for managing and developing the full brand portfolio through allocated account and Key Accounts. Once commercial agreements have been secured, the role is to develop and maintain a professional relationship with the customer at a senior, Head Office level and at User level when required.   

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years field sales experience. You will have fantastic territory management experience, have experience of managing accounts and developing new business along with great presentation skills.
