Are you a Field Engineer from an Electrical background with experience in Servicing/ Commissioning Lighting systems (or similar) looking to improve your work-life balance in a stable position? 

SALARY:         £30,500 - £35,500 as a basic salary plus overtime, work uniform, travel expenses, phone, laptop, pension, 22 days paid holiday plus bank holidays. 

LOCATION:   London 

A Lighting Commissioning Engineer role has arisen with this well-established lighting company. They provide efficient lighting control systems to new build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, educational, scientific and medical sectors across the UK. 

You will be working from home and covering mainly Central and Greater London plus other areas when required. 

Duties as a Lighting Commissioning Engineer include testing and commissioning pre-installed lighting control systems. Providing on and off-site aftercare services ensuring the lighting control systems are maintained to a high level of operations across projects and sites. As a Lighting Commissioning Engineer, you will be preparing scheme drawings showing port details for lamps and sensors plus IP networking and fault finding. You will be preparing various reports and working closely with contractors and end-users reporting to the Project Manager. 

To be suitable for this role as a Lighting Commissioning Engineer you must have experience as an engineer within the lighting sector. Have strong knowledge of digital addressable lighting interface (DALI) and knowledge of LONworks (local operating network). You must have a good electrical background ideally hold a 17th or 18th Edition qualification Plus have a good understanding of IP networking.
