Serving customers including municipal water companies, industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical and scientific.
Main responsibilities for an Operations Engineer include but not limited to travel to client sites across the UK ideally someone living in the North-East. As an Operations Engineer you are required to give customers the best in quality service. You will provide on-site corrective/preventative maintenance and offer after-sales technical and commercial support to existing water treatment chemical customers. You will also provide service, chemical treatment analysis, monitoring and account management to existing customers. You will provide legionella control and ensure customer compliance with ACOP L8, gather information for client review meetings, gather site information and compile site log books for customers and review site water services for risk assessment.
To be suitable for this role as an Operations Engineer you must have a HNC or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Chemistry qualification. Knowledge and experience of chemical water treatment would be an advantage e.g. cooling tower management or boiler optimisation. Experience working as an Operations/Service Engineer in a technical role or laboratory experience would also be advantageous.
