POSITION: Planner - Schedular
SALARY: £26,000 - £28,000 basic
LOCATION: Sidcup, Orpington
A new vacancy has arisen with a long term client that we have worked with for many years. The company are in the industrial/construction sector and they deal with projects in the UK and other locations globally. They are looking to recruit a Planner/Scheduler to design, prepare and maintain master schedules, incorporating all key project milestones for various work breakdown structures.
Primary responsibilities include coordinating multiple departments time plans, creating the construction projects master schedule and identifying the key required resources to successfully execute concurrent projects.
You will be liaising with the project managers to discuss progress and any issues that may arise. Identifying scheduling conflicts and recommending solutions to eliminate disruption and ensuring that compliance is adhered to. You will be fully involved with the company operations and participate in team meetings.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Planner or Scheduler preferably within the construction industry or allied/related. You must be proficient in Microsoft packages and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. You will ideally be educated to A Level standard.
