Growth and expansion has created this terrific opportunity for a project focused, design led Project Sales Designer / Sales Executive to join the team at one of the UK leading manufacturers and suppliers of premium, bespoke commercial and residential outdoor living products.
With an enviable reputation for quality and craftsmanship, this established and growing business offers a wide range of products, from traditional timber garden structures such as Gazebos and Thatched Lapas, to bespoke outdoor structures including restaurants and classrooms, sold to the high-end residential, commercial, leisure, and education sectors across the South East and UK.
PROJECT SALES DESIGNER / SALES EXECUTIVE
SALARY: Basic salary is circa £28,000 with an OTE of £45k (+). You will receive 20 days annual leave (that increases with length of service), company pension and use of a pool car when visiting clients (as and when).
LOCATION: Based from the office / showroom in West Kent, your usual hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, plus occasional Saturdays as required.
Focussing primarily on high net worth clients and professional landscapers, in this consultative sales role you will be selling the company’s range of premium outdoor living structures and products, guiding and assisting customers through the design and sales process, from initial concept to finished project.
An outline of your duties and responsibilities includes:
* Generating sales by responding to leads and enquiries
* Dealing with clients over the phone, by email and face to face.
* Client meetings in the showroom or at the clients’ premises / home.
* Guiding customers through the design process.
* Producing quotes and sales orders.
* Cross-selling additional / complimentary products.
* Acting as point of contact throughout the project.
A self-motivated and highly professional Project Sales Designer / Sales Executive, you will use your consultative sales approach and fantastic listening skills to obtain the clients brief, present a fantastic design the client will be sure to love and, most importantly, close the deal.
You must have a minimum of 2 years’ design led sales experience, possess the ability to build strong relationships, demonstrate a consultative approach to sales, and be capable of delivering the best customer service at all times whilst still having the confidence to close for the sale. Knowledge of ‘SketchUp’ is desirable but not essential but you will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages.
This role may suit a Sales Designer / Sales Executive with a background in luxury kitchens or bathrooms, or a design focussed Sales Estimator, Sales Consultant, Account Executive from areas such as interiors, exterior, or lighting, etc.
