POSITION: Sales Executive Water Treatment with prospects
SALARY: £36,000 - £38,500 basic – OTE £52K - £55K plus company vehicle, pension, good prospects for growth, realistic targets

To be suitable for this role you must have a proven sales track record in water treatment, ACOP L8 risk assessments, cooling tower solutions, water monitoring, water treatment chemicals or very similar with a good working knowledge of tank cleans, chlorination, TMV replacements, tank replacements, cooling tower monitoring, dosing systems, boiler chemistry.
The company are a bit of a specialist with a track record extending over 30 years. The primary business is water treatment, water monitoring, remedials and water hygiene, however, they are also known for consultancy, training, specialist surveying and solutions within the water treatment field.
They are looking for a sales executive to add to the team currently. The focus of the role is generating new accounts, however, they will also be assigning good existing accounts to you for to manage and grow. You may also get involved in some of the more technical aspects of the role from time to time including the training and consultancy depending on your skill levels and interest.
Initially you will be handed over a lot of leads, lapsed clients, advertising leads, recommendations, anything from the social media activities as well as anything new that comes into the office with a view to working systematically through, clarifying the useful ones, booking appointments and hopefully opening accounts. While you are there it may be worth knocking on some doors of local business’s looking for leads and potential contacts especially if they are near to established accounts for the engineering team to service, as you establish, the company will start to hand over established long standing accounts to you that have growth potential, they will need an initial visit, survey, overhaul of the current activities as well as the normal “what else can we get involved with, what other sites, who can you recommend me to?“
The company specialise in consultancy and are often brought in to oversee or confirm other companies work, complete fresh ACOP L8 risk inspection, sample cooling tower water and analyse on site and in the laboratory, suggest new chemical treatments and schedules, however, day to day you will be selling mainly water sampling, temperature testing, system chlorination, tank cleans, TMV monitoring and servicing, shower head cleans, boiler water treatment, chemical cleans, air quality monitoring, dosing equipment servicing and replacement, water monitoring, water treatment, water hygiene, compliance and some water conditioning equipment.
Current markets include industry, manufacturing, food and beverage, healthcare, tourist sites, schools, universities, public bodies, FM companies etc., however, you may have a different grouping in mind and will be given the freedom to explore as you will.
