A genuinely exciting Sales Support/Customer Service role has arisen with this leading manufacturer of plumbing supplies. They are looking for a proactive person to join their friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis. Salary range of £19k -£21k depending on experience. LOCATION: You will work from an office in the Gillingham area 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
SALARY: £19,000 to £21,000 on the basic salary (depending on experience), 20 days + bank holidays plus Christmas shut down. They also offer a pension and voucher for eye tests, plus company team building events throughout the calendar.
You will be the main point of contact for their customer base that consists of customers both in the UK and across the world, processing incoming sales orders for products, responding to customer queries, processing returns and liaising with both internal and external contacts with excellent customer service always at the forefront. You will also be required to have an understanding of finance, invoicing and all other admin functions such as post, filing, archiving and other general office duties for this varied role.
From time to time, you may be asked to support other departments.
Successful candidates will have an excellent telephone manner, be organised, pay great attention to detail, be a problem solver and have a proactive approach to your workload. Due to the administrative nature of this work proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel is desirable. An ability to build good working relationships is essential as you’ll be working closely with production and warehouse to ensure next day delivery for customers is achieved.
