Job Description

A genuinely exciting Internal Sales position has arisen with this leading supplier of architectural wire mesh, cladding and gratings. They are looking for an experienced internal sales professional to support the sales team by following up quotations and dealing with clients over the phone. LOCATION: Working from an office near the Faversham area Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm 

SALARY: Circa £25,000 as a basic salary with an OTE of £30,000 plus 20 days holiday and company pension 

The company sells a wide range of architectural wire mesh, cladding and gratings to architects, specifiers, designers, contractors and metal fabricators. It is very much a project-based sale. 

You will be responsible for supporting the Sales Team by following up their quotations. You will be negotiating with clients and closing orders, qualifying new enquiries in order to quote customers, preparing and sending customer quotations for new projects. Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations for projects. Liaising with freight companies to obtain quotations projects. Running monthly reports on quotations and conversions for the sales team. 

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years internal sales experience. Ideally you will have knowledge or experience within the construction industry. You will be able to negotiate with clients and have excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases.
