An exciting Area Sales Manager position as arisen with this leading supplier of automatic gates, turnstiles, and barriers. They are looking for an experienced sales professional from within their industry to join their team. LOCATION: Candidate’s can live anywhere in the Midlands and will cover the Midlands as a territory. You will be able to work from home and will visit the office once a month for sales meetings etc.
SALARY: £35,000 to £50,000 as a basic salary with an OTE of approximately £60,000+ (which is completely uncapped and designed to reward new business. You will receive a % of every order/project generated. You will also receive a fully expensed company car, mobile, laptop, 20 days holiday and company pension.
You will be selling a wide range of automatic security gates, turnstiles, bollards and security fences into end users and the list of possible clients is endless for example; manufacturers, ports, quarries, logistics firms, warehouses, and industrial estates. Points of contact are generally Facilities Managers, Security Managers, Estate Managers and Procurement Managers. If you have experience with dealing with types of clients, you find it very easy to hit the ground running.
The role is predominantly new business (initially), you be hunting for new projects and installs for which to quote and tender for. You will be required to book your own appointments, present at all levels and be able to conduct site surveys.
Successful candidate must have at least 5 years face to face, field sales, selling experience. You will have sold either automatic security gates or industrial doors. You will have experience of managing a large territory, managing your own diary and presenting at all levels. If you are looking for a stable, well established company to join then please apply ASAP.
