Job Description

An incredible Specification Field Sales Executive position has arisen within a well-established manufacturer of building envelope solutions. 

The company who specialise in a range of façade, rainwater, eaves and roofing solutions into the construction industry via Contractors, Architects and Specifiers are looking for an experienced and successful Specification Field Sales Executive to join their team. 

SALARY:         £40,000 - £45,000 basic plus commission £10,000 - £20,000

LOCATION: This is a field-based position covering the South East 

This role will be a mixture of new business and account management. You will be expected to utilise an existing account base of Contractors and Architects to identify up and coming projects as well as look to hunt for new clients via cold calling, canvassing and using trade websites such as Glenigans. 

In complete control of your own diary, you will spend approximately 4 days a week out on the road and 1 day a week working from home to complete any administrative tasks. 

A highly consultative sales approach is required, conducting an in-depth site survey and when required, performing CPD presentations to Architects to gain specification of products.  You will then be responsible for managing the full project cycle until all works are complete. 

To be successful for this Specification Field Sales Executive role, you must have at least 3 years’ experience proven sales experience of selling into the construction industry via Architects and Specifiers. You must be able to complete site surveys and have experience of conducting CPD presentations. 

This role is covering the South East of England, so you must live within this region and have a full UK driving licence.
