A genuinely exciting Technical Surveyor role has arisen with this leading supplier of industrial doors. You will be tasked with conducting site surveys and writing detailed specification for large scale projects so direct industry experience is essential.
LOCATION: Candidates will ideally live in the Northampton, Northern Home Counties or Midlands area as you will have to report into the office on a regular basis. You will be going out to visit clients on a regular basis in order to conduct site surveys.
SALARY: £38,000 to £50,000 as a basic salary plus company vehicle, mobile phone, tablet, 20 days holiday and company pension scheme.
You will be responsible for surveying and specifying projects and enable correct flow of jobs for the company’s entire range of industrial doors.
Previous knowledge of industrial doors is essential and installation experience or similar project work would be very beneficial. You will enable the flow of work from sale to installation, of products such as industrial roller doors, high speed doors, sliding, folding and sectional doors.
You will be tasked with measuring and specifying, taking photographs of all relevant areas and (to pass back to the sales team). This requires technical skills to be able to relay the correct information and note it in the proper manner. You will present an excellent front image to the prospective customer on behalf of the company. Maintain your files, images of the openings to be surveyed, survey forms and all equipment to a high standard. IT knowledge required.
Successful candidates must have experience of working as a Technical Surveyor or Specification Manager and ideally have experience of working within the industrial doors sector.
