Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a leading manufacturer, designer and distributor of workplace access solutions. 

The company who specialise in a range of safety, fall protection and access equipment such as platforms and walkways, handrails and guardrails and scaffold towers are looking for an experienced TIG Welder or metal fabricator to join their team. 

SALARY:         £23,000 basic, holiday, pension 

BENEFITS:     25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension 

LOCATION:    This role is working from a site based near Wakefield 

The TIG Welder role will be varied where you will be involved in all aspects of the welding and fabricating department. 

You will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of safety and access solutions, working closely with the Factory Manager. 

The TIG Welder role will also include working to tight deadlines and ensuring that projects are completed in a timely fashion, to a high quality and ensuring that tight specifications are adhered to. 

Another responsibility as a TIG Welder will also be conducting quality control checks on finished work and completing any necessary administration and check list duties. 

To be successful for the TIG Welder position, you must have at least 3 years’ experience as a TIG Welder ideally working with Aluminium and Stainless Steel, however experienced metal fabricators will also be considered. 

Due to the location of the TIG Welder role, candidates must live a reasonable daily commute to the factory near Wakefield.
